Bookings.
All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions. All activities are subject to availability. Dive Utopia (“We”, “Us”,”Our”) may accept or decline bookings, and may withdraw any offer discount or promotion (including our package pricing) at any time. Your booking shall only be accepted when we have received payment, and have issued you with written acceptance of your booking.
Offers & Promotions.
When we offer discounts, offers or promotions on our package prices, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, or promotion advertised on our website. You must identify the applicable offer, discount or promotion (including our package pricing) at the time of booking. We may issue you with a quotation from time to time. Such quotations shall be valid for seven days unless a shorter period is specified by us, and shall not constitute an offer. Unless an offer, discount or promotion (including our package pricing) is claimed at the time of booking, and agreed by us in writing, our standard website prices shall apply.
Course costs.
Dive site entry fees, boat fees and transportation costs are not included in any advertised course price unless otherwise stated.
Information for all Courses.
Dive Utopia reserves the right to refuse admission onto a course or courses. Although every care is taken to provide a safe controlled diving experience by qualified staff, Scuba Diving is subject to variable weather conditions, currents, and other natural phenomenon, therefore is undertaken entirely at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for any injury or other loss caused by, or resulting from, your own conduct, which amounts to your own contributory negligence. Candidates must read and sign a PADI disclaimer before any training begins. If our Instructor calls off the dive for safety reasons, his decision is final.
Equipment.
All necessary scuba equipment required for entry level courses is included in the course price (Except professional level courses). Candidates using our equipment for any course are responsible for that equipment. Equipment for guided dives and for professional level courses can be hired for an additional charge. Any damage caused by student due to negligence will be chargeable.
Own Equipment Use Policy.
Any Diver using their own Scuba equipment must sign and confirm that they have completed a pre-dive safety check of all of their own equipment and that it has been serviced in accordance with the appropriate equipment supplier’s service schedule and that any personal air cylinders they are using have also been tested in line with statuary requirements under any required local regulations.
Payment.
Payment for any course or activity must be paid in full upon receiving your booking request confirmation. We accept cash, or direct bank transfer, card payments can be made but incur a 4% surcharge.
Cancellations & Refunds.
For many of the the courses or guided dives we may have pre-booked venues, boats, reading materials, and such like, therefore we incur costs if courses are cancelled.
Subsequently we require one months notice of cancellation from the booking date to provide a full refund.
If only three weeks notice is given only 75% of the payment will be refunded. Three to Two weeks notice 25% of the payment will be refunded. Less then two weeks notice and NO refund will be provided.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone right up to the date of the course or dive. If so a alternative date will be provided. If we notify you at any time that a course or dive has been cancelled, a full refund will be given.
Required Documentation.
You will be required to complete certain documentation in advance of any activities, and for diving activities you will be required to declare any known medical conditions. You must do so truthfully, accurately, and completely; and must update us if you become aware of any change in the information which you have provided to us. Prior to any advanced diving courses or guided dive you will also need to produce evidence of your level of qualification and divers log book.
Course Materials.
When we accept your booking, we will provide you with any required PADI course materials which are included in your course fee. Course fees exclude the cost of PADI DVDs.
Course Expulsion.
We may cancel your booking with immediate effect and without refund if you fail to complete any required documentation, if we become aware that the information that you have provided is incorrect or you have failed to disclose a known medical condition, if you fail to comply with the reasonable instructions of our staff, including without limitation those relating to safety, or act in any manner which may compromise the health and safety of yourself or others.
